These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Mayhop. They cover what the app is, what it is not, what you may and may not do with it, and who is responsible for what. Please read §3 (health) and §4 (AI) carefully — they matter more here than the boilerplate.
By creating an account or continuing to use Mayhop, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
Your privacy is covered separately by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
Mayhop is a strength-training, nutrition and fitness tracking app. It records what you tell it, calculates statistics from that record, and offers an optional community layer. It works fully offline and without an account; signing in adds cloud backup and social features.
Mayhop is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional or clinical advice. It is a logging and information tool for general fitness use.
Some optional features use artificial intelligence: the AI Coach, and adding a meal by typing or speaking it. What you send is processed by our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy §3.
The AI Coach is not a general-purpose assistant. It is limited to fitness and strength training, exercise technique, workout programming, training performance, cardio, sports nutrition, calories and macronutrients, the recipes in the app, hydration, recovery and sleep, and help with using Mayhop itself. Questions outside those subjects are declined before they reach the model.
That limit is about subject, not accuracy. The fact that a question was allowed through does not mean the answer has been checked by a professional, or checked by anyone.
The recipes in Mayhop are provided for general information and meal planning.
You keep ownership of what you create. By posting content in Mayhop you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it within the app, for the sole purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already saved or that remain in backups for a limited period.
Some things are public by design — including your profile and posts, and, unless you turn it off in Settings, your listing on the leaderboard. See Privacy Policy §4.
You agree not to:
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any post or comment and block any user from the ⋯ menu. Reported content is automatically hidden after multiple reports and reviewed by us, normally within 24 hours; we remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. Moderators can read reported content and its surrounding context in order to act.
Today Mayhop is free. "Premium" features are unlocked in the app without payment: there is no price, no subscription, no in-app purchase and nothing is charged to you. Nothing in the app should be read as an offer to sell.
We intend to offer a paid plan in the future. If we do:
Usage limits. AI features are metered per account (a daily and a monthly cap, different for free and premium tiers) so the service stays affordable for everyone. We may change these limits. Reaching a limit does not affect anything else in the app — you can still log meals and workouts by hand.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the app, and we may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Mayhop after a change means you accept it.
The app depends on services we do not control (app stores, hosting, sign-in and AI providers). It is provided as available, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
You are responsible for your own records. While signed in we back your data up to our servers, but you should not treat Mayhop as your only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account.
You may stop using Mayhop at any time and delete your account from within the app.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts the service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why. You can appeal by emailing support@mayhopfit.com.
To the extent permitted by law, Mayhop is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of the figures the app calculates or estimates.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or loss arising from your training, diet or health decisions. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim — which, while Mayhop is free, is zero.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under the consumer law of your country of residence; these terms do not take them away.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also bring proceedings in your own country of residence and keep the protection of its mandatory consumer laws.
If you installed Mayhop from the Apple App Store, this agreement is between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and — to the extent permitted by law — has no warranty obligation towards you. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim about the app (product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual-property infringement) is our responsibility, not Apple's. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government restricted-party list.
If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about Mayhop.
